Walk / Wade Trips on the Gallatin and Madison Rivers

Both full day and Half day trips on the Gallatin River.This is a trip for anglers of all skill levels. If you are interested in learning to fly-fish, our veteran professional guides are eager to share their knowledge with you.

It is an excellent opportunity to gain confidence in areas such as casting, knot tying, stream entomology and wading safety. Streamside instruction on topics such as western nymph fishing, streamer fishing and reading the drift and line control will help you fine tune a particular technique or explore some new water.

Float Tube Fishing

This is an excellent way to access the numerous alpine lakes in our area. Float tube fishing for the Gulpers of Hebgen and Ennis Lakes can produce huge rainbow and brown trout. The term Gulper originated on Hebgen Lake and refers to the sound made by large trout from mid-June through August, as they inhale small mayflies from the surface. In spring and fall, streamer fishing is very productive as trout gather at the inlet mouth prior to spawning.
